Hype Style

When I was in college I was president of the modeling team.  Although that was not my first brush with fashion, it did help me to bring out my inner style!  One thing I discovered about fashion is that just like everything else in life, trends change.  Check Hype Style every Tuesday and Thursdays and I will give you my insight on trends in the industry!  If you have a new trend, future trend, or local boutique you want to see on My Fabulous Hype email fiercepromotion85@gmail.com.

Two-Trend-Thursday

So, I gave you a sneak peek into some of my spring/summer ideas in today's post entitled "March Madness."  If you're not sure what to look for this spring here are a few ideas.  I have a top 10 list of Spring Trends, here are just two.

  • Relaxed Fit and Flare Jeans.  We ladies love our skinny jeans, and although skinny's are fashion, the trend that I've been seeing lately are the relaxed fit, boyfriend cut and flare jeans.  Now this is not something that should be worn everyday.  Your skinny and leggings, everyday.  Only break out the "other jeans" as needed.  For instance, the flare is good for a shopping day, or a day with the ladies.  A spicy 70's look, but don't over do it!

  • Button Front Mens Shirt.  I think this is a great trend for spring.  This shirt will work extremely well with those relaxed fit, boyfriend cut or flare jeans.  The button front shirt is normally used for business, but this spring it's okay to wear it when you're out and about this season.

Two-Trend-Thursday

So I have  been slacking on the trends I know but here are two worth trying.  I know many of you have closets full of spring wardrobe just dying to get out.  This season I have adopted the "no black" rule.  NO BLACK for the entire spring/summer season.  Is it possible, yes.  All the spring lines are emphasizing three important things when it comes to color:

Nudes.  Nuetrals. Soft pinks and blushes.  Yes these colors have already begaun to dominate my wardrobe:

These shots are from the Spring 2011 BGBG Maxazaria line.  Peep the neutral from head to toe.

Bright Color.  Worn at once!  LOL!  Many lines are pairing bright colors together. Fuschia, red, green.  Put them all together.

Both pictures are from Diane Von Furstenberg Spring 2011 line.  Look at how bright colors are paired.

These are by Jessica Simpon. The natural soles are another trend for spring.

Geometry.  Not only are the color bold and bright they are full of geometric shapes and patterns.
