New Year's Eve 2010 (Pt. 1)

As we all begin to embark on 2011 I have just ONE resolution: I REFUSE TO SIT AT HOME! Each year I say that but this year it is different. I feel that now more than ever it is a time for me to branch out to something TOTALLY different. NYE 2009, spent at a small club in the Deep South--> in which I woke up SICK! NYE 2008, also spent in a club in the Deep South--> lacked the glam that I desire. NYE 2007, a couple parties--> cold, snowy, really just went with the wind. This year has to be EPIC, MEMORABLE and (of course), FABULOUS! There are a couple of things going on in the Windy City (that I know of so far). 1. Comedy Shows. They are the big thing to do on NYE in the Windy City, just one problem: I'm dateless in Chicago. Who wants to attend this even alone? NOT ME! 2. Clubbing. Well, Well, Well..I'm not sure if fist pumping and half nakedness is how I want to ring in 2011. 3. Family Hanging. Love the fam, but I will be hanging with them on Christmas. I want to be young and free on NYE. Well this is the first of MANY NYE posts. I will update you. Please feel free to add suggestions...Enjoy your day!

Ladies Night Out 12.04 Edition

So last night was the first of many Ladies Nights. Stop number one: HOUSE PARTY!! I was with a few beautiful ladies near downtown Chicago. It was definitely the place to be last for young African-Americans. No drama, just beautiful people enjoying each others company. Nothing like a good house party especially when the drinks are flowing, the food is hot and the men are plenty (and FINE). Stop Number Two: APT Lounge on Chicago's south side. Yeah I said it! Good in the hood! Which isn't always bad because the drinks are good (and CHEAP). The crowd and music are good also. The trick to the APT is that you have to get there at the right time. Too early and you're sitting there waiting for a crowd...too late and there's standing room only. But I love going there. My ladies night out was beautiful...I love going out with the girls, we always have the best time. Who says you can't find fun in Chicago. Well thats what I said. It looks like things are turning around. So stay tuned!
